  • Why Hello There!

Grab a tall glass of ice cold sweet tea and stay awhile! My name is Michelle and I am so glad you have come to visit my site. I'm momma to Isaac, Isabelle, baby Luke, and wife to my partner in crime, Todd. We are the Maddox family, living out our dream of the simple life. I started documenting for others in 2011 under the name of our two small babes Isaac & Isabelle. Since then we have been blessed with our third little guy, Luke. Our homestead has grown with babies of all sorts. Farm animals galore, more like an Old McDonald farm! So we want to share that with you all, open our hearts and home to each client. Come for a fun, laid back, relaxing time enjoying the simple things with us!

A Heart Warming Family

Oh dear Becca, we finally got this session in and boy, oh, boy did it ever turn out perfect! Becca contacted me over a year ago, I think it was, about doing a photo session of their sweet new baby girl that they were adopting. So the date would near our scheduled session and life would happen, and we would reschedule. I think we may have rescheduled about 4 times?? So many bumps in their adoption journey that were scary, but just weeks after this shoot little Miss.Beatrix become all theirs, officially. What a blessed story this family has!! I was beyond excited to meet Becca and hug her neck! The weather was so very kind to us that day and the Lord granted us the most yummy sunlight to wrap around them. I have so so many favorite sessions, but this one is definitely at the top of the list and will stick with me always.

There are so many, many sessions and family photos that I wanted to blog about from last year. Time got away from me. I thought I would just compile a bunch of photos that didn’t make it on the blog last year and share them now. I can already see that this photo season is going to be another great and busy one. We are beyond excited for what God has in store for our family!! So many new changes coming up within the Maddox Homestead and also Isaac & Isabelle’s Photo Booth. I can’t wait to share all those new blessings through photos!

Todd and I took a trip to Shaker Village back 2012. My editing style has changed a lot since then, but I am still in love with these photos! I think it’s time for a re-visit!
