The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit, and fire. ~Sharon Ralls Lemon
What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life – to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories. ~George Eliot

One of our most favorite times of the year has arrived. Of course I had to take my baby girl out & about to have her model for me. She is only 3 years old and already loves to garden! It makes me so over-joyed. We have plans in the making to build her a small, picket-fenced in, flower garden. She loves to pick flowers, make arrangements, dig in the dirt, water the plants, and collect worms, aka “wormins” & “shermin’s”. I love it!
Below are photos of her planting flowers that she picked out herself at Lowe’s. Todd & I thought she wanted to go to the lawn & garden department to actually “pick” a flower off the plant. Well, she walked around and around and would say, “let’s see.” Then she saw the wave petunia’s and picked up 2 half gallon pots, one in each arm, and said, “I will “bring” these.” “Bring” in her world means “take”. We were so surprised and the sales people were chuckling along with us. It was the cutest thing ever, and no way could we say no to that! She knew exactly what to do with them and had the best time planting & watering her petunia babies.:)
