It’s So Nice To Meet You!
Hello there! My name is Michelle and I am so glad that you have taken the time to stop by and look around a bit.
I'm momma to Isaac, Isabelle, & Luke, wife to my soul partner of 20 years, Todd. I yearn to tell stories of love, grace, and redemption. As the years pass I realize that all life is just that.
My days are spent tending to the souls of our children with home-educating and farm chores on our little home-stead. I accepted the gift of Christ when I was a young girl, falling in love with Him more each day. This life holds its full purpose because of His plan.
For a birthday present in 2007, I received my first DSLR camera from my husband. It wouldn’t be until four years later that I began taking commissions for my work. There was no turning back. Life has brought many seasons of time off from the business, but the life giving lessons I have been taught in this art are unmeasurable. My eyes have been open. I intentionally look for grace, faith, and divine love in each subject, bridging the gap between art + faith is a heavy burden on my soul. The Great Painter, The Great Still Artist, The Great Creator has given all the tools we work with daily in creating meals for our families, warm inviting rooms in our homes, he’s given the palettes we use in creating all forms of art….. it’s a gift, use it well and use it to His good.
Should You Hire Me?
Sit with me here in this space awhile, look around the web-site, read the words here. I’m here with open arms, if you have questions just let me know. We can chat in person or over the phone, and I promise I laugh a lot, hug quite often, and will listen to what weighs on your heart for your photos.
There is no such thing as perfect.
I want you to understand, absolutely that you will come away with beautiful photos, but never ever will the kids behave like adults, nor will dads LOVE the entire camera in his face time, or your home always look like a fixer-upper after taping. That’s not real life. I am here to see you just the way you are, beauty is relative, it’s always there to be found. “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things..” Let’s document the Faith. The substance that stands within your four walls of family, the love that’s there, the grace, even in the mess, the uneasy seasons, lets find the evidence of the unseen.
